Lido Marina Village in Newport Beach, California, is a reimagined waterfront destination that brings together boutique retail, artisanal dining, and a sophisticated coastal atmosphere. RSM Design played a key role in shaping the village’s identity by designing the wayfinding system throughout the exterior and parking garage, seamlessly blending functionality with style. Inspired by the site’s maritime surroundings, the design incorporates polished brass accents, high-gloss teak wood, and a refined palette of black, white, and dark grey — creating a timeless and elegant seaside ambiance.

NAUTICAL INSPIRATION
Beyond wayfinding, RSM Design also curated public art and murals that enhance the village’s character, using nautical symbols and inspirational maritime quotes to reflect the spirit of the harbor. These artistic elements add a layer of storytelling, inviting visitors to engage with the space in a more meaningful and memorable way. Through this thoughtful combination of environmental graphics and public art, RSM Design helped transform Lido Marina Village into a vibrant and iconic Orange County destination.
ESTABLISHING A TIMELESS SEASIDE FEEL
A simple palette of black, white, and dark grey paint was applied throughout the project. This choice creates a timeless seaside feel that complements the architectural style, ensuring a harmonious and enduring visual appeal that resonates with both locals and visitors.
