Hotel Drover is inspired by the pioneering spirit of the west, delivering true Texas character and hospitality. The project is named to honor cowboys, known as Drovers, who once drove longhorn cattle across the plains. Situated within the historic Fort Worth Stockyards, Hotel Drover is a curated experience and one-of-a-kind hospitality retreat. RSM Design joined the development team to craft a unique wayfinding signage design and environmental graphics program for the luxurious Fort Worth hotel. The design team at RSM carefully integrated principles of the brand story and history of the project into the experiential graphic design around the site. Iconic cowboy characters, neon signage, warm metals and rich textures create a wholesome branded environment. Since Hotel Drover’s opening, the project has been recognized for its unique design and sensitively handled historic preservation. RSM Design was honored to collaborate with the team in crafting the architectural graphics and signage, inspired by the historic character of the area yet weaving in modern sensibilities of contemporary placemaking.
Proud of where we came from, we welcome all with a tip of the hat and a firm handshake.
Stitched leather and metallic-accent signage echoes the stockyards' rugged materiality alongside cold-rolled steel and red brick. RSM Design partnered with fabricator Boyd Sign Systems to deliver wayfinding and digital signage across the hotel's 200 guest rooms and key amenities.
Hotel Drover in Fort Worth is one of only a few Texas hotels to earn a Michelin Key, recognizing exceptional hospitality. We're proud to have shaped its wayfinding experience.
