T&P Train Station

Texas & Pacific Station in Fort Worth, Texas, is a landmark rich with history, once serving as a bustling hub for travelers during the golden age of rail. When RSM Design joined the project, the goal was clear: enhance the experience of the station without compromising its historic charm. The team set out to create a directional wayfinding and placemaking system that felt both intuitive and respectful of the building’s legacy. The result is a signage system rooted in simplicity and modern elegance, one that quietly supports navigation while allowing the architecture to remain the true focal point.

Beyond wayfinding, the project also aimed to bring the stories of the station’s past to life. RSM Design collaborated closely with a local historian to uncover narratives of the people, trains, and moments that once filled these halls. These stories became the foundation for specialty graphics placed throughout the station, acting as visual storytellers woven into the environment. Carefully designed and placed, the graphics honor the character of the original architecture while deepening the sense of place. Together, these elements create a layered, meaningful experience that connects today’s visitors with the rich legacy of T&P Station.
