At the heart of Irvine’s transformative Great Park development, RSM Design has played a pivotal role in shaping The Canopy, a dynamic 12-acre retail and dining destination that redefines community engagement. Collaborating closely with developer Almquist, RSM Design infused the project with a cohesive vision, blending brand development, environmental graphic design, and branded architecture. A name, logo, signage, and architectural elements are also all thoughtfully designed to reflect the area’s history and contemporary lifestyle.


By intertwining storytelling with design, The Canopy is set to become a communal space that honors the legacy of the land while embracing the area’s next generation. Through a holistic design approach, every aspect of the environment is considered, from visual identity to branded graphics and wayfinding, all working together to create an inviting atmosphere where residents and visitors can connect, shop, and dine.
