Echoing the elegance of the sixties

Pier Sixty-Six in Fort Lauderdale has long been a symbol of coastal elegance, and its recent rebirth as a luxury resort destination called for a wayfinding experience that lived up to its legacy. RSM Design was invited to help shape this next chapter—tasked with creating a seamless signage system that echoed the refined spirit of the resort while connecting a variety of buildings and spaces under one cohesive visual language. Inspired by the fluidity of the marina, sunlight reflecting on the water’s surface, and the textures of the surrounding architecture, our team designed a sophisticated signage palette that subtly guided guests through the property, enhancing the atmosphere without ever overpowering it.

DESIGN THAT LETS THE PLACE SPEAK

The vision was clear: to unify the entire site with a shared design DNA rooted in the brand’s identity. We embraced simplicity, leaning into understated materials and a clean typographic approach that allowed the environment to shine. Every decision was made through close collaboration with the client, ensuring alignment with the resort’s elevated tone and guest expectations. The result is more than just signage. It’s a quiet narrative woven through the property, reinforcing Pier 66’s story of timeless luxury and effortless sophistication.
