Built in 1925, Maple Terrace is one of Dallas’s most treasured architectural landmarks. Designed by British architect Sir Alfred Bossom, the historic apartment building was among the city’s first luxury residences, home to generations of Dallas social and cultural figures. Nearly a century later, it is being reimagined for the 21st century as a dynamic mixed use destination with offices, restaurants, retail, and new residential spaces.
RSM Design was honored to contribute to this transformation, crafting a wayfinding and signage program that bridges the site’s storied past with its renewed identity. With deep respect for the building’s historic character, the team preserved its architectural elegance while introducing a contemporary layer of clarity, accessibility, and place identity. Thoughtful materials, typography, and detailing complement the timeless architecture while positioning Maple Terrace as a forward looking hub for modern urban life.
