Nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, Trailborn Hotel offers more than just a place to stay. It invites guests into a thoughtfully curated escape where the raw beauty of the wilderness meets the quiet comforts of modern hospitality. With panoramic views of towering peaks and peaceful valleys, the hotel is designed for those looking to step away from the pace of everyday life and find rest in nature’s rhythm.

From the beginning, the experience at Trailborn is intentional, and that’s where RSM Design came in. We partnered with the team to create a signage and wayfinding system that seamlessly integrates into the landscape and reflects the hotel’s character. Using materials like raw wood, exposed fasteners, and weathered metal, the signs echo the natural, textural language of the surrounding environment. These rugged materials ground the space in its setting, while refined typography and clean design elements introduce a layer of quiet sophistication. The result is a signage system that enhances the overall atmosphere of Trailborn, complementing the architecture, supporting the guest experience, and telling a story that’s rooted in place but elevated in design.
